The Liteyak Ultra is crafted for serious explorers, and we've made it even tougher with new aluminum cockpit latches and reinforced anchor points. Known for being one of our fastest and longest models, the Liteyak Ultra excels in efficiency on the water and has plenty of room for extended gear. It's rugged enough to tackle the open ocean yet lightweight enough to easily carry on your back.

Product Highlights

The Liteyak Ultra is a 493 cm (16'2") performance kayak that folds down to the size of a large suitcase. At 14.5 kg (32 lbs), this origami kayak weighs the same as an ultra-fancy carbon fiber one. It’s compact enough to store in your trunk, closet, boat, or garage — but can store a ton of gear. 

The Liteyak Ultra can handle anything you throw at it. The closed cockpit can be used with a spray skirt to keep you dry in waves or rain. It’s best for intermediate and advanced paddlers, providing exceptional performance in both speed and stability.

Durability

Our boats are lightweight yet incredibly strong. Crafted from 5 mm double-layered, custom-extruded polypropylene with a 10-year UV treatment, Liteyak kayaks are puncture and abrasion resistant, built to last. Whether sliding over rocks, bumping into obstacles, or folding it tens of thousands of times, these kayaks stand up to the challenge.
